How do women get bacterial vaginosis?

Do women get it through sex? Not wiping themselves correctly? I just found out I got this and don’t want a recurrence.

Things that upset the balance of vaginal bacterial flora; multiple sex partners, douching and some studies correlate cigarette smoking to an increase in incidence.

lots of things can cause it… and once you get it, your more likely to get it again… you can get it from sex, multiple partners, strong soaps.. not wiping properly, douching.. to much cleansing of your genital area… what it is, is an imbalancement in your ph down there… your supposed to have a certain amount of bacteria it keeps the bad bacteria out and when you upset that imbalancement vaginosis occurs… dont worry your going to be just fine… if possible get some metrozondale(not exact on the spelling) and keep it around so incase you devolp a lil smell or itch or discharge you can take care of it yourself…(would take 500mg pill twice a day.) there is also over the counter stuff called rephresh you can get at your local grocery store wich is supposed to help with maintaining your proper ph balance….’;)
