How do you cure bacterial vaginosis?

I was just diagnosed with a bacterial infection which i believe is called bacterial vaginosis. I’m using a vaginal cream right now that will heal the infection. My doctor said that my boyfriend could be carrying it and then give it right back to me when we have sex even though i’m healed of it. Are there any home remedies or something that he could try so this doesn’t happen. I’ve been dealing with this infection for over a year and i would hate to have to deal with it again. please help. thanks.

There are oral and gel antibiotics (metronidazole, clindamycin and tinidazole) used to treat the BV. Reoccurrence of BV is common, and a second course of antibiotic is usually prescribed. There are home remedies you can do to cure it permanently. I’m not sure what he can do. But I did find a blog that explains how women can cure bacterial vaginosis from home.

I’ll leave a link to the blog below.

hope this helps…
